We called Nolan's Inspections looking to make an appointment for the inspection of our home.  We spoke with Nolan and were pleased to learn that he is the owner and only inspector in his company, which told us he really worked his business! (Not like other businesses where the owner is nowhere to be found and everyone else is a contractor).

It was a Friday night and we needed this inspection done ASAP, so Nolan was kind enough to book us for the very next day, Saturday at 9am.

We met Nolan at the property and we felt he took as much time as he needed and put lots of interest in the house, plus, he spent extra time with us answering all our questions.

I was present for the entire inspection.  Nolan thoroughly inspected  the property and also took the time to explain what he was finding.  He answered all of my many questions, and he also showed me exactly what he was talking about.  Even though my questions added time to the inspection, Nolan did not rush through the inspection or answering my questions. 

Because of the time that Nolan spent with me, I feel that I have a much better understanding of the workings of our new home than our previous home.  The inspection report was wonderfully thorough (with photos) and conveyed precisely what Nolan had explained throughout the inspection process, and he emailed it the same day!

Nolan and I scheduled to meet at the house at 9:00AM. When I pulled up in front of the house at 8:45 (I'm habitually early), Nolan had already been there 20 minutes, let himself in and started the inspection. He was VERY thorough, spending about five hours to inspect the 3,000 s.f. house.  He took several digital photos and made notes on his laptop as he went. After finishing an area, he would call me in and review the issues he identified, making sure I understood them. Nolan also was very helpful in that he gave me the details of the Standard of Practice, but then also explained the issues in the context of what he had seen at other houses in the same area of the same age/style, etc.. This was very helpful in determining what we needed to address with the seller right away vs. what we could handle on our own after moving in.

I highly recommend Nolan's work.

We hired Nolan's Inspections, LLC to conduct a thorough warranty inspection for a house we had occupied for 10 months. Nolan arrived on time and immediately put me at ease with his professionalism, experience and courteous manner. He writes notes, enters information in his laptop and takes many photos as he proceeds throughout the inspection. This ensures that he does not let any detail escape from his final report! If there was a concern or deficiency to mention, he discussed it in a way that was educational and easy to understand. I felt like I had taken a class on my own house! I was present for the inspection. Nolan Kienitz was punctual, thorough, professional and presented me with a detailed report via e-mail the evening of the inspection. Digital pictures of discrepancies were included in the report. This facilitated negotiation of those discrepancies between buyer/seller so contract could be finalized during the 7-day option period. Furthermore, Mr. Kienitz did a follow-up, prior to closing, to ensure that all was in order. I was especially grateful for this as we closed from 1400 miles away. I got more than my money's worth.
